    yvComment is the first native Joomla! 1.5 Commenting solution, it is well documented and free.
    It has two required parts (i.e., extensions): component + plugin. It also has a lot of optional extensions, including yvComment module, yvCommentCBPlugin and 35 yvComment Language packs, so the resulting solution may be very simple or more complex - it's up to you.
    yvComment supports Captcha (secret word) extensions, Smileys, BBCodes, Avatars/Gravatars, WYSIWYG editor, Community Builder and many content plugins and tools designed to work with Articles of Joomla! (e.g. GeSHi). yvComment allows users to add comments to Articles (and Comments to Comments also). Comments may be stored in the same database table used by content (where they are treated as a special type of Article), or in their own table.

    yvComment is written from scratch specifically for Joomla! 1.5. It is not compatible with previous versions of Joomla!/Mambo. It is thus very deep integrated into the Joomla! core, which it tries to extend and not to duplicate.

    * MosCom is a comments component for Mambo and Joomla.  It is a rewrite of Phil's Combo script to work with Mambo 4.5.2+ and Joomla 1.0 and 1.5.  It allows visitors to comment on content items within Mambo.  This script is used at opensourceCMS.com allowing visitors to leave comments regarding content management systems.

    (Note: Please make sure to download the latest MosComBot 1.1+, MosComLatestX 1.1+ to work with MosCom 1.1+)

    Notes for MosComBot:
    * MosComBot is now has comment form without the need to edit the template.
    * Please make sure emailcloak is listed before MosComBot to avoid scramble the email in the comment form.

    New module for Joomla 1.5.x had been released and I call it "All in One IntenseDebate Widget Module". This module can be diisplay Latest comment, Blog Stat, Popular blog posts, Top users or My Recent Comments.

    Before use this module, make sure you use IntenseDebate in your joomla site. You can get and install the IntenseDebate plugins.

    After install the module, do setup from module manager in your joomla panel, simply choose the widget type from drop down menu which you want to display then insert Widget ID and number of comments or commenters for Top User

    How to get Widget ID ?
    You can get Widget ID from your website ID which you've added at IntenseDebate, like this http://www.intensedebate.com/dash/96788 so your ID is 96788.
    You can use this ID for 4 widget types for Latest comment, Blog Stat, Popular blog posts and Top users except My Recent Comments Widget because this widget using your user ID.
    If you want to get your user ID you must login at IntenseDebate and go to the Following tab, this is the url http://www.intensedebate.com/users/304678/following, so ID for My Recent Comments Widget is 304678
