    New Updates for Joomla Contact Information Module 2.3

    * Email link can be either the email address or custom text.
    * Contacts are now be shown in the order you list the contact ID's.
    * Fixed "Invalid argument supplied for foreach()" error when no contacts are found.

    Contact Information ModuleDisplay several contacts on your Joomla website with one instance of this module. The option to make the name a link to the corresponding contacts page. Options for separating contacts include "Div”, "Break Tag”, "Horizontal Rule” and none. Each line can be styled separately adding the CSS classes to your style sheet.

    This Joomla module is intended for displaying your Joomla contact information in different places besides just a contact page. The module takes the contact information from the Joomla contact component for whatever ID is specified, then displays it where you choose in your website template and it only displays the information you need according to the parameters you've set. It's also great for displaying different bits of your Joomla contact information in separate locations within your Joomla template. Using the Joomla copy module function, you can have several instances displaying different or identical information.

    This simple module created for Joomla 1.5 allows you to display your business hours neatly within your Joomla template. Choose alternating colors for rows and text, set border size or select to use your Joomla template CSS file using the module settings, (see example at the bottom of this page). Days left blank will display as "Closed". Also choose between abbreviated or non-abbreviated day names. Version 1.0 for earlier versions of Joomla is also available below.

    Joomblocks is proud to be able to present the first free joomla 1.5 extension. We developed this very simple one (that was our promise, wasn't it?) for a company we are working for. They simply needed a way to list all contacts and from there list the contents of that category when clicking the link. It seems that this feature was available in joomla 1.0 versions but somehow disappeared in the 1.5 area. Strange. Anyway, it wasn't too difficult creating a similar one.

    Although this module does what it should do there is not so much control in displaying the categories. There's a css file that you can use to do some formatting, but it would be better if we could influence the number of columns and rows displayed. Well, that's a feature we'll include in our next release.

    We have updated the version by request of one of our users: version 1.0 currently hides categories that the user isn't allowed to see.
