AlphaContent is a component that creates a Yahoo style directory of content items (articles) in specified ections/categories of your Joomla! website. AlphaContent also makes it possible to sort this listing alphabetically based on the titles or intro of these articles. Many parameters for the presentation and selection possible of the sections/catégories to be or not published. This component will be appropriate more particularly for all those which use the articles like system of cards, or those which need a classification of their items alphabetically or in the form of directory.

In the new release RC 2.9.2 of SOBI2 we added several new features such as the possibility to define component menu links to SOBI categories or special listings or functions, like to user listings or to the add entry form.
In addition to this Joomla! extended menu structure we implemented the possibility to show a message if a category is empty and to switch off alpha index for categories.
Also we extended the SOBI language manager to install the additional Joomla! 1.5 menu language files if they are within a language package.
Generating of RSS feeds can now be configured in different ways using the configuration keys.
The settings for meta data generation are more sophisticated now.
The CSS styles for the payment page are improved and a container for the renewing page is added. Please check the CSS file for changes.
Also the SOBI system check reporting is improved and adapted to the new version.
Besides these new features and changes there are several bug fixes and small improvements included in the new version.
We experienced that a lot of servers were not able to handle tar.gz files. Therefore we changed the archive type of the SOBI2 package back to ZIP.
Because of their ongoing help in the Sigsiu.NET forum for SOBI2 we added Helge Kreutzer Johnsen (Poffen) and Kostas Stathakos (leven) to our team member list.
We also released version RC 1.3 of SobiSEF plugin. To use the new extended SOBI menu structure with SobiSEF, this new plugin version has to be used. Don't forget to purge URLs after installation. -

Productbook component
I wanted it to be easy to create some kind of productpage per Car, but I could not find the wright component for this task.
Then I ran into a recipe manager component at Joomlaitalia, I saw the potential in it to rewrite it to fit my need.
This has become the productbook component which I now have given back to the Joomla (and Mambo) community.
The component is based on the Ricettario Recipe Manager from Vamba.
This Ricettarie can be found on http://www.joomlaitalia.com and is based and inspired by AkoGallery. -

It also helps to add items not categorized (static articles) as a section like weblinks components and contacts component. AlphaContent has its own voting system in ajax which can be used to replace the voting system natively.
Installation: Install the component via the administrative interface to Joomla. During installation, the plugin is automatically installed and published. If the plugin directory does not have permission in writing, and an error occurs. The component would have to be repeated after fee changes on the plugin directory.
