    I am happy to announce the conversion of our old Joomla! 1.0 Community Builder Karma system to Joomla! 1.5.x!

    Karma 1.5 is a system which includes a component, CB plugin and optional modules for rating CB members.

    Karma 1.5 is a FREE download.  I'm contributing the system as a thank you to the Joomla! and Community Builder communities.

    Click on downloads in the main menu to download Karma 1.5.  There's a new forum instlall here as well, to provide a support area for Karma 1.5.

    This cb plugin dispalys a link from your users profiles when geocoded to their marker on map. It can reward geocoded users with a Jawards medal from the Jawards component and also AUP points from the AlphaUserPoints great component. It can give some points when user sets his lat and longitude, and delete the medal and points if the user deletes his coordinates. To use AUP component with this plugin you need first to install the 2 xml rules provided.

    If you use CB Contacts along with CB Captcha to try and fight spam on your website, then you will know how well it works as long as the link option points to option=com_cbcontact and not just option=com_contact.

    This mambot converts links on the fly to com_cbcontact to ensure any links that are not entered correctly are converted when the page is loaded.

    This mambot is especially good when “non-techie” users do not remember to edit the links, or for sites that already have a lot of pages, and you do not want to or can’t find unsecured links.

    There are no parameters for this mambot/plugin, simply install and publish.

    Note 1: this mambot works only on links included in content items. If you have links embedded in other items, they will not be modified.

    Note 2: both CB Contacts and CB Captcha need to be installed and working for this mambot to work.

    Note 3: This is a J1.0+ mambot. I have tried it in J1.5+ but it does nothing even with Legacy mode enabled.

    Finite is it so far! The new version 0.13 of the birthday of module for the Community Builder is published and is available as used here and with JoomlaOS too to download.

    Beside the distance smaller nose are the following functions hizugekommen:

        * English version
        * Selection between user names and that material name for the announcement in the module
        * To fade out option the remaining days
        * To change Möglickkeit the stringer for day and days
        * Gift icon on the day of the birthday

    The promised function to the automatic dispatch of birthday emails could not in this version yet be considered. I continue to work however to!
