The basis is that the MP3 player pratsbye on flash technology with applications for Wordpress - Audio Player by 1 Pixel Out. Therefore application for Joomla! I called Word Press Player (only for Joomla! 1.x).
Short of its features:
* Play an MP3-file
* Defines and displays the file size
* Creates a link to download the file
* Gives opportunity to open player in a separate, vyhulknomu window
* The colors of all parts of the player can be changed (in the setting mambota, see picture)
* The player gradually reduces / increases the volume when you stop / start playing
Demonstration of work player.
Attention! After installing mambota go to its properties and save them (even if nothing changed)!.
Remind - only works in Joomla! 1.x.
* In the new version corrected errors for web pages that rotashovani in piddyrektorih and optimization of code for PHP <5. Thank you Jeffrey Dubinsky for testing.
* New version has bugfixes for sites located in the subdirectories an PHP <5 optimization. Thank's to Jeffrey Dubinsky for testings. -

his is a new minor release - 1pixelout player version 1.5.2
It is only for Joomla 1.5.x (may work with J!1.0.x legacy mode activated though not tested)
Fixes:
* Thanks to Nathan for fixing the amperand not being properly escaped.
The track being used is 'Some Velvet Morning' by Lee Hazelwood.
Works with web browser:

Requirements:
* Joomla! 1.5.x only
* Flash plugin
* PHP 4/5 (but only tested with PHP5)
Installation:
* Install it as a plugin
* Go to plugin manager and activate 'Content 1pixeloutplayer'
Upgrade
Uninstall the plugin using Joomla install/uninstall manager, and install this newer version.
Usage
* Create a folder called mp3 in /images/stories/ or where ever you like. This folder will be used to store and play your mp3 from. Upload your mp3 files using FTP program. If you don't want to use FTP, you could install a text editor with an upload feature for media files.
* To link to mp3 file type this in your content item (Note, a forward slash at the beginning of the path is not required): {audio}images/stories/mp3/your_mp3_file{/audio}
* It is now possible to stream mp3 hosted from an external server. To do this, just use a full URL to where the mp3 is hosted: {audio}http://domain-name.com/mp3/file_name.mp3{/audio}
* You can also change the colour of your player, see plugins manager's page for 1pixelout player.
* WARNING: PLEASE DO NOT USE BOLD on the {audio} {/audio}
* More detail about usage - see the plugin page once it is installed.
* NEW: you can now define your own default path in the parameter settings. Note: if you do, you do not need to add the path in your content. For external files not on your own server, just type in the full URL in your contents, ie, {audio}http://domain_name.com/file_to_path/your_file.mp3. -

"MP3 Gallery" is an evolution of my other Joomla's module "MgMediaGallery for MgMediaB". "MP3 Gallery" module integrate the XSPF MP3 player
with the slim skin, so now you don't need to install any additionnal component or bot. Just download, install "MP3 Gallery" and start
publishing your MP3 files by uploading them on your website.
Prerequisite: please after installation, create the directory and subdirectory "media/audio" in the root of your website.
Customization: you can modify the way the XSPF Player works (autoplay, autoloop etc...) by modifying the file mod_mp3gallery_config.php and looking
for the string "PERSONALIZE".
UPDATE:
- Now you can also personalize the style of player. Some of users want to set this module on the left or right menu, the module's default
player is "slim" but now you can set it to "button" so it will only be a 17x17 button.
- the mod_mp3gallery_playlister.php had been modified cuz on some Joomla's configuration it displays "Restricted access" making the mp3
player doesn't work. Just delete the line:
include_once( '../globals.php' );
- the MP3 player can be now played in a popup window to allow the visitor to continue browsing your website while listening to your music.
